Quality Engineer

Kalmar Mobile Equipment is looking for a Quality Engineer who will support and develop the product quality of counterbalance products. The ideal candidate should participate in Product Lifetime Care Process and in meeting forum, take part of the information and actions that are deemed necessary. As part of the team you will be working closely with cross functional, all parts of our global organisation and towards suppliers.

The location of the position is Ljungby, Sweden.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collect and provide product quality feedback to concerned functions and projects within BL´s
  • Product quality feedback and re-claiming toward suppliers 
  • Develop, maintain and provide methods of measurements of product quality
  • Manage, contribute and take part in larger quality improvement projects that affects several MAU and/or Product Lines.
  • Work together with supply organization in order to improve product quality and processes
  • Collaborate with product support department, in order of improving warranty handling.

What you’ll need to succeed:
The ideal candidate should be able to do independent work as well as teamwork and perform many tasks simultaneously.

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant major or equivalent experience 
  • Product knowledge and experience of quality work
  • Good knowledge in quality tools and systems such as ISO 9001, 5S, TQM, and Six Sigma
  • Fluent in Swedish and English both in speaking and writing.
  • Focus on customer needs
  • Positive attitude
  • Desire to develop and continuously enhance your own work and nearby processes
  • Great accuracy, analytical ability and well structured
  • Financial knowledge.
