Manager Product Safety and Processes

Making your next move count

Kalmar is looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Manager Product Safety and Processes. In this role you will work with agility and open mind while excelling in handling product safety matters and setting compliance standards applicable to the Kalmar’s product range.


The position is located in Ljungby, Sweden.


Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Monitor standards, legislations and other requirements are in line with Counter Balanced (CB) products
  • Ensure that these standards, legislations and other requirements are available for people in charge
  • Communicate closely with various stakeholders internally and externally, regarding product safety and standards
  • Participate in external standards and legislations development work or delegate it to
  • other persons in agreement with the manager in charge
  • Actively participate  in national and international professional and industrial organisations
  • Take care of planning and costs, and ensure deliveries are executed efficiently.


What you’ll need to succeed:



  • A relevant university degree, preferably in Engineering.



  •  Experience in product safety and standard work is needed
  •  Experience in similar tasks are beneficial
  •  Experience regarding other Kalmar products would be considered as an advantage.



  •  High level of planning skills
  •  Structured way of working with ability to work independently
  •  High skills in understanding and evaluating legislations and standards
  •  Focus on customer needs
  •  Ability to motivate and inspire people while building trust
  •  Fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken.
