ACTING SR Manager Global Supplier Development

Purpose of the position

 

Lead, develop, and implement Strategy, KPIs, tools and processes within Supplier Development organisation to prevent and mitigate risk affecting the business area and to assure set KAMOS Sourcing KPIs are met. 

 

The positon is temporary for 6-12 months.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Lead and support Supplier Development organisation team members 
  • Lead the Supplier Development team to proactively work with Suppliers to mitigate Supplier quality, delivery and Sustainability issues within the Supply chain.  
  • Build a talented and skilful Supplier Development team at all MAUs.
  • Identify, Manage and Develop a healthy talent pipeline of Supplier Development Engineers, preparing the professionals to the next level in their career, without limiting or compromising succession plans
  • Manage approved budget 
  • Lead, develop , manage and maintain Supplier development processes & tools for Kalmar  in cross BA collaboration
  • Develop, implement and maintain procedures, processes and tools for collecting, analyse , monitor and improve suppliers Sustainability compliance and performance within Kalmar.
     

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering , Quality  Or similar 

 

Experience

  • Min.7-10 years professional experience in management position (global/regional)
  • Experience of strategy development and target settings.
  • Product Development within Purchasing is required with Supply Chain experience background as a plus


Competencies

  • Strong Production-, Manufacturing-, Quality system-, Project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English  
  • Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organization and ability to lead , manage and influence others
  • History in driving compliance and validation in all activities
  • Strong leader that exhibits presence and influence.
