Kalmar’s Mobile Solutions division is looking for a Business Controller, Austria to support Country/MA with relevant financial and other relevant information for decision making, spanning historical, current, and future performance. We are looking for a professional who can support Kalmar Finance organization in implementing and developing activities relevant to this area. 

This position is based in Kalmar’s office in Klagenfurt, Austria. You will report to the Finance Director, North and East Europe and work together with the Country management team and MA Management,  Market Area Controllers, External and internal audit and Cargotec/Kalmar Reporting teams.

 

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Work as a business partner to country management with financial information, business review and analysis, and use this information to lead the planning, performance management, decision making and controlling processes. Challenge the business and financial performance
  • Manage the planning, forecasting, and actual reporting process in close cooperation with Market Area Finance Head. Analysis of actual, forecast, and budget of the business lines
  • Report and communicate financial performance to relevant parties
  • Participation and contribution in common business control objectives of Cargotec and Kalmar, as well as the Kalmar Services and Mobile Equipment divisions
  • Authority to inform, initiate and implement corrective actions together with relevant organization to ensure continued effectiveness and efficiency of control
  • Authority to implement actions together with the country organization to correct financial performance.
     
What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education

  • Sc / M.Sc on finance/accounting/etc.

 

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in controlling. Knowhow in accounting is considered a plus.

 

Competencies

  • Strong collaboration skills and effective networking skills
  • Communication
  • German, English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excel, Hyperion, SAP, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in matrix.
