Kalmar is now looking for a HSE Manager. Are you an inspirational leader that can bring our organization to a world class safety culture? 

In this role you will identify HSE improvement areas and initiate, recommend and provide solutions. You appreciate interacting with your colleagues and motivate them to contribute to a great safety culture.

This position is located in Kista, Sweden- travelling in the role will be included and you will report to the Service Operations Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities


In this role you will develop a yearly plan for the work environment and monitor changes in legislation regarding work environment and investigate how it affects us. You will handle cases received from the Swedish Work Environment Authority and attend in inspections and are responsible for deviations being handled in accordance with legal requirements. You will make an investigation in case of incidents, support and investigate what happened and what went wrong. In this role you are responsible for safety rounds on workshops, service vans and support organization. You will also work with preventive actions, lead the implementation of a culture in the organization that identify and report potential risks.

Other responsibilities:


  • Documentation and instructions. Evaluate the existing information, align with Kalmar standards and re-fresh
  • Risk assessments
  • Chemical management
  • Leader of the safety committee Sweden.



What you’ll need to succeed



  • Education level needs to be university degree corresponding to area of responsibility or similar knowledge through experience.


  • At least 3-5 years of relevant business / service operational experience
  • Proven track record in service business / sales / safety (including Swedish working environment rules)
  • Significant experience in relevant business segments
  • Fluent in Swedish and English both in speaking and writing.
