Trainee, Marketing Communication

Making your next move count

We are looking for a summer trainee to join the Kalmar Automation Solutions marketing team to support our marketing communication activities for both internal and external stakeholders globally. The successful candidate will support all aspects of communications across the organisation.

The period for the traineeship will be from Mid May-August.

The location is Helsinki, Ruoholahti office.  

Main tasks and responsibilities:
•    Create rich and engaging content and coordinate content creation for different stakeholders and channels
•    Support in communication activities including news, articles, blog posts, newsletters, quarterly communication and presentations from Kalmar Automation Solutions point of view
•    Back-up for selected marketing activities during the summer holidays.
 

What you’ll need to succeed:

The successful candidate is a team player with the ability to deliver results coupled with strong interpersonal skills. They would possess an understanding of digital and interactive marketing & communication concepts and technologies, including social media, web and mobile.

Ideally you have:

•    Communication and/or marketing at least a 3rd year student (master student) 
•    Prior experience in a communications role 
•    Previous experience in B-to-B environment is seen as an advantage
•    Team player with the ability to deliver results coupled with strong interpersonal skills
•    Good spoken and written English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
•    Previous experience in writing and/ or proof-reading
•    Good skills in Google tools.
