Manager, Dealer Business Development

Purpose of the position

 

To continously develop the dealer business within Kalmar Mobile Solutions, we are searching for a new team member to strengthen the Global Dealer Management team. We are looking for a candidate to drive the development and implementation of the following aspects of dealer management:

 

  • Training & Certification Program: Drive the development of dealer training and certification program with related expert teams and ensure implementation with local market areas
  • Information & Engagement Platform: Manage dealer engagement and information sharing platform and drive continuous improvement
  • Dealer Satisfaction: Coordinate development and implementation of regular dealer satisfaction surveys and derive suggestions for development work
  • Sales Process & Tools: Actively participate in development of the sales process and tools and initiate necessary development work from the dealer business’ perspective.
  • Marketing & Communication: Drive dealer marketing and communication programs in collaboration with marketing. Coordinate arrangement of dealer events and meetings

 

This position is part of a global team and we are searching for a candidate to be ideally located in Singapore or Finland, but other European country is an option as well.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Lead the development of dealer training and certification programs with related expert teams and ensure implementation with local market areas. Identify and collect training needs with dealers and liaise with other functions to ensure sufficient competence levels are reached
  • Drive development of dealer information and engagement platform to ensure relevant content is available for the dealers to enable efficient sales work.
  • Actively participate in the development of sales processes and tools, and drive the development work from the dealer business’ perspective.
  • Coordinate development and implementation of regular dealer satisfaction surveys
  • Drive development and implementation of dealer marketing and branding in collaboration with marketing and dealer managers in market areas.
  • Develop dealer communication strategy and drive implementation together with related functions. Generate web and social media content for internal and external use
  • Coordinate arrangement of dealer events and meetings together with marketing and market areas
  • Contribute in development of overall global dealer management function and liaise actively with other functions in cross-functional projects to represent the voice of dealer business

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education

  • University degree in business administration, economics or engineering (or equivalent)

 

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in working in international B2B sales
  • Experience in working with dealer or channel sales development
  • Experience in managing development initiatives in global sales context
  • Experience in leading cross-functional project teams
  • Experience in working with different cultures in global business context
  • Basic understanding of technical equipment and service

WORKING TOGETHER WITH

 

  • You will be working as part of a global team of dealer managers and regional sales worldwide and actively collaborating with different functions such as marketing & communication, sales support and business lines in crossfunctional teams.
  • You will be also working together with our worldwide dealer network to support the business. 

 

The position requires flexibility in working in global team with different time zones and occasional worldwide traveling is required.
