Kalmar strategy function is looking for a Junior Strategy Analyst, to join the team. This role will support running the global Kalmar strategy planning and deployment processes, contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans, prepare management and board presentations, and support the ongoing work and projects as part of the team. The position is located in Helsinki HQ.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Support in running Kalmar strategy planning and deployment processes
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans, and mergers & acquisitions
• Develop tools, systems and approaches for business development, strategy design and implementation
• Prepare management and board presentations
• Support ongoing work and projects as part of the team (e.g. deep-dive topics in strategy, ad-hoc projects).

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or engineering.

Experience

• Previous work experience in corporate strategy and/or management consulting.

Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Structured and fact-based way of working
• Good skills in Google tools (Drive, Sheets, Slides), as well as Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience with HFM, QlikSense, and Reuters Eikon are considered as beneficial
• Fluency in both written and spoken English. Finnish is considered as an advantage.
