The main purpose of the role is to ensure Kalmar IM security risk identification and mitigation in order to secure business continuity. Your main responsibility as an Information Security Manager will be to proactively look for new threats and plan needed actions to prevent security incidents.

Work actively together with Kalmar divisions, Group and other BA information security persones to improve Cargotec security position.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Drive Information security risk identification together with Kalmar business, IM, and group security functions
  • Ensure that Kalmar has adequate business continuity plans for our information systems and clear responsibilities in handling security incidents
  • Ensures that the common policies, standards and guidelines are followed
  • Ensures  that identified vulnerabilities in BA IM systems are acted on
  • Coordinates security audits in BA 
  • Has knowledge of the products, key processes, information technology systems, data and contact persons in Kalmar
  • Monitors security training results and security awareness trainings within Kalmar
  • Acts as a focal point in any security incident response process related to Kalmar.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

In order to succeed in this role, you should possess the ability to lead people in virtual teams, be natural at building internal and external networks in an international environment, but also be comfortable with hands-on technical work.  You perform well under pressure, capable of challenging and defending your work. 

 

In addition you will also need:

  • Education in information technology or relevant experience. 
  • 5 plus years of experience with information security or at least industrial one
  • Good ability in networking and forming relationships with internal and external stakeholders / Ability to work with and independently engage in projects with international teams and in virtual environment
  • Structured way of working 
  • Ability to clearly communicate with business as well as IT personnel
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.

 

Success criteria:
You can provide a clear visibility of the main information security risks in Kalmar and a clear plan to  mitigate current vulnerabilities. You have good relation and way of working with key stakeholders in Kalmar business as well as with IM and group security function. Kalmar does not get major business impact from information security incidents.
