Solution Sales Representative

Purpose of the position

 

Sales Representative is responsible for selling Kalmar solutions and services in defined area within Italy and related cluster countries (Turkey, Greece).

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Order intake and Sales budget from own area;
  • Penetration on new markets and new customers in selected area;
  • Proactive customer communication and effective responses to RFPs, RFQs and other customer inquiries;
  • Prepare detailed price proposals, create sales support material and documentation;
  • Reporting;
  • Customer satisfaction;
  • Market intelligence
What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education

  • Economical or Technical background, Bachelor’s degree highly preferred

Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of b-to-b sales experience;
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant business / product experience;
  • Experience of solutions sales and value-based selling techniques is an advantage;

Competencies

  • Customer orientation, marketing minded;
  • Flexibility and cooperation skills - collaborative culture;
  • Solid communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to network and willingness to collaborate across functions in order to deliver the best results for the customer;
  • Good stress tolerance;
  • Native in Italian, fluent in written and spoken English. 
Working together with:
  • Customers, Suppliers,
  • Business line sales support and customer financing,
  • FLU Service Managers,
  • Spare Part Sales and Product Support.

Location is in Genoa or other major city in the North of Italy. This role requires ability to frequent travelling over 100 days per year.
