Service Operations Coordinator

Purpose of the position

Kalmar is looking for Service Operations Coordinator for maintaining efficient and compliant service contracts and on-call services coordination.
You will be in charge of costs and revenue optimization for contracts and on-call service and driving service excellence, assist the Regional Service Operations Manager in day-to-day service operations and provide regular dashboards and reports for better decision making.
This position is based in Casablanca`s office in Morocco. The role is reporting to Regional Service Operations Manager.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the local purchases, preparation and coordination of service contracts, tenders and on call service from creation until completion
  • Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for installations, upgrades, and other technical services, prepare work orders and monitor the progress of work against estimates
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the technical service team
  • Ensure contract's costs are well reported, under control and well followed up
  • Time sheets booking accuracy (weekly), overtime reporting, control and analysis (monthly)
  • Material requirement planning, request for quotation, follow up and optimization
  • Issue the monthly service orders and service offers as well as related costs and revenue processing
  • Ensure regular invoicing of service contracts’ and on-call and provide monthly dashboard for better decision making
  • Process On-call services and ensure all required documents are along service execution (purchase order or work order, provide delivery note, etc)
  • Check, update and minimize billing due list
  • Ensure invoices are distributed and received at customers’ end
  • Support contracts’ coordinators and head shifts with sites 
  • Request for port access for technicians, visitors and company assets
  • Process with customs clearance of parts and consumables required for contracts
  • Develop HSEQ (Health, Safety Environment & Quality) policies and procedures and ensure those are maintained, ensuring safe systems of work are in place and followed.
     
What you’ll need to succeed:

We are looking for a communicative, responsible and motivated person.

Ideally you have:

  • Typically university level (Engineer degree or equivalent, General Engineering)  or strong work experience in similar jobs   
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience preferably in heavy cargo lifting businesses
  • Business Impact and decision making
  • Works independently to complete given tasks and activities and work is mainly performed according to defined process or work methods
  • Full Command of French and English is a must
  • Capacity and ability to adapt to the changes, priorities and tight schedules.
