National Equipment Sales Administrator

Purpose of the position

To provide support to the Equipment Sales Team at an Oceania level.

The role will be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Key Accountabilities:

Cargotec Values

  • Demonstrate compliance and commitment to the Company’s values

Sales Support

  • Advise management of service complaints and take initial action to handle the complaint
  • Handles and follows up customer sales and service enquiries
  • Maintains liaison with outside organisations and factories and keeps them, and the sales team, up to date with developments in the sales process
  • Work with the Marketing Manager on evolving and developing sales and tender responses
  • Manage the sales approval process, ensure all approvals are complete for each sales proposal before it is submitted to the customer
  • Ensure equipment handover from Sales to Service (for initial commissioning)
  • Prepare sales and marketing submissions, quotes and all related follow up activities
  • Manage the SalesForce Pipeline by providing reporting as required
  • Facilitate weekly sales meetings. Ensure meeting agenda is regularly updated and take and distribute minutes.

Administration

  • Processes orders, quotes, prices and arranges/monitors deliveries
  • Provides full administration and filing to support the sales team
  • Ensure shipping and logistics information is updated regularly
  • Raise invoices for all equipment sales in a timely manner
  • Submit equipment factory orders

Product Knowledge

  • Aims to continuously develop their product knowledge to increase their effectiveness

 

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum year 12 graduate
  • Certificate/Diploma in a business orientated field or administration

Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales support or branch administrative role
  • Previous experience in managing customer complaints
  • Previous experience working in customer service
  • Previous experience using CRM Sales System (Salesforce or similar)
