R&D Engineer, Control Systems

We are looking for a R&D engineer, Control Systems to join our team of professionals.

The position is based in Hiab’s office in Zaragoza and will be reporting to the R&D Manager, Control Systems.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Take an active part in the development of new projects defining hardware and functional requirements
• Define technical specifications, test plan and validation of Control System HW & SW
• Support in the development of prototypes and in product testing / validation activities
• Collaboration with the production department when new products are launched. Definition of parameters for new features implementation
• After sales assistance.

What you’ll need to succeed:

We’re looking for a dynamic, methodical, enterprising person and strongly motivated to carry out team activities and promote the necessary activities and methodologies suitable for finalising the tasks entrusted.

Ideally you have:

• University degree in engineering, mechatronics or electronics
• Experience in integration of Control Systems in machinery
• Experience in electrical drawings. Preferred Solid Edge
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Preferred 2 years of experience in industries in the machinery and / or services production sector: Hydraulic handling machines and control systems
• Knowledge in modelling and simulation (Matlab/Simulink) would be an advantage.
