•    To provide best in class customer experience by delivering differentiated solutions, including market leading product and data-driven services, throughout the product lifecycle with market leading offerings supporting our customers & organization to meet our sustainability targets
•    As a result of this product management will be a key driver of HIAB’s long term profitable growth by delivering high value added solutions for customer’s current and future business needs. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

●    Responsible for own product(s) success (Sales, CGM and share growth by attractive segment) 
●    Owns product input in overall MGPP and implements roadmap for given products to product line strategy
●    Secures needed input for NPD activities (Insights, segmentation, unmet needs, business case, launch, etc.). 
●    Spends 40% with customer/external stakeholders. Organizes & uses deep insights for decision making
●    Input to marketing (Value proposition, differentiation to competitor, other USP’s etc)
●    Product Phase in & out
●    Ensures existing products are optimized with the correct options, pricing, sales tools to meet business objectives
●    Prioritises PLC activity to ensure portfolio remains competitive
●    Approves option releases
●    Works with Pricing on value based pricing, competitive analysis, price positioning and pricing model
●    Works closely with sales organization to counter-measure growth and price gaps 
●    Training on value proposition and offering
●    Co-operation with Service PM to secure optimized product lifecycle costs, serviceability, and service capabilities in markets
●    Owns TCO management. Develop insights (and sales/value argumentation tools) for product TCO in different applications and customer segments
●    Responsible of own product technical sales support
●    Responsible of own product segment specific support
●    Coordinate, control and guide new product development projects as well as bigger assignments and tasks.
●    Oversee development stages for a wide range of projects, sub-projects and assignments.
●    Perform tasks such as scheduling, resource forecasting and make sure that financial forecasts are accurate and that projects/assignments are progressing as planned.
●    Coordinate teams from different specialty disciplines working in chosen projects. Ensure cross-functional collaboration
●    Responsible for the overall quality control on any given project, sub-project or assignment.

Product Manager owns pricing of his/her product line within Hiab pricing framework: 
●    PM provides list prices, discount targets, Level of Authority & margin targets
●    PM provides special deal support and evaluates exceptions 
●    PM uses realization to evaluate list prices and to manage P&L (and manage costs)
●    PM will request support from central pricing to improve list price structure, price models, tools, strategies and data for pricing. 

What you’ll need to succeed

•    Typically university (degree) level (technical and/or business)
•    Multiple years of experience in on road load handling systems (or similar heavy equipment)
•    Experience in multinational working environment
•    Experience in working in customer interface
•    Experience in handling product and product business in different life cycle stages


•    Expert/Mastering, has in depth knowledge and skills covering all aspects in the area of expertise/responsibility. Is considered a role model and expert in the area of expertise/responsibility, works typically on tactical level. Coaches/mentors others
•    Business and commercial acumen with strong customer skills 
•    Sufficient technical understanding of product & application
•    Strong communication skills and influencing capability
•    Cross functional collaboration skills
•    Presentation, oral & written skills
