Business Development Manager

Purpose of the position


Hiab is looking for a Business development manager to join our team. The role drives business development activities for digital services and accelerates the business development of Hiab’s digital HiPerform portfolio. The manager is accountable for developing a strategic roadmap of our industry-leading connected solutions and leads the organization to move towards a differentiated offering, creating a sustainable competitive advantage for Hiab.

Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Actively target the top KAC / productivity partners 
  •  Create leads, convert sales and develop key customer relationships (focus on global/cross-country KAs) with respect to the HiPerform portfolio.
  •  Owns the digital roadmap
  •  Support the development of customer value propositions for Hiab’sHiPerform portfolio
  •  Link product management, customers and frontline stakeholders to drive the development of Hiab’s connected offering and its commercialization
  •  Drive understanding of the customer lifecycle and how to add value through digital solutions
  •  Focus on testing concepts and push business development with KA and OEM customers
  •  Ensure scalability of offered digital solutions
  •  Monitors the competitive landscape (direct competition, truck OEMs, industry wide)
  •  Provide sales training & competence development for Hiab frontlines and partners.

What you’ll need to succeed


  • University degree in IT, software, computer science or AI/robotics
  •  Proven experience in commercialization / upscale acceleration of digital services sales
  •  Proven experience to  work with remote resources and global teams
  •  Minimum of five (5) years Account Management and business development
  •   Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the company
  •  Commitment to professional growth and development
  •  Ability to lead and direct and indirect team OR rather: ability to engage and influence people?
  •  Group facilitation and trainer/instructor skills.
