We are looking for an experienced Architect, Commercial Excellence, to oversee the IM/IT architecture and business partnerships for Hiab's Commercial Excellence function. You will support and coordinate business needs and process development, IM solutions and application development, and service delivery within the Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Customer Relations Management area. Additionally, you will manage and ensure the technology platform's availability and compliance. 


This role leads the architecture and solution development for Hiab’s core process area, "Create customer commitment." It also owns the development roadmap, created in alignment with business stakeholders, process and solution owners, service managers, and the enterprise architect.


This role will be based in either Helsinki or Tampere and will be reporting to the Enterprise Architect.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Commercial Excellence leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive IT roadmap that supports business growth and innovation.
  • Solution Architecture: Act as solution & platform architect and responsible for the functionality of commercial excellence process area-related system platforms that leverage SAP, Salesforce, and other relevant technologies to optimize sales, marketing and communications processes. 
  • Development & Operations: Hands-on work, coordinate- and drive IM solutions development in the area of Commercial Excellence, covering technology development, data flows, and integrations of solutions. Act as Service owner towards business, responsible for solution availability and functionality of the service support together with IM-service support teams
  • Implementation and Deployment: Hands-on execution and overseeing the implementation and deployment of IM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key technology vendors, including SAP and Salesforce, to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Business Partnership: Build strong relationships with key functional stakeholders and process owners in the Commercial Excellence function, acting as a trusted advisor and technology partner.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to leverage innovation for competitive advantage.
  • Continuous Improvement: Take charge of initiatives to continuously enhance our development, support, and operational processes and solutions. Foster innovation and introduce industry best practices to elevate quality, user-friendliness, and process efficiency. This role demands a strong focus on continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Financial management: Manages cost of solutions covering (operational and development costs) and ensures that set targets and budgets are kept.
  • Strive for cost-efficient solution architecture meeting the market pricing

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on IM/IT solutions and architecture.
  • Deep hands-on expertise and knowledge of SAP and Salesforce technologies, with a proven track record of successful implementation and deployment of Sales & Marketing capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solid understanding of Sales & Marketing business processes and challenges.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into technology solutions.
  • Experience in application development and product data management.
  • Strong technical and Agile skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
