Customer Care Representative /Inside Sales

Purpose of the position

•    Deliver the best possible experience to each and every customer as part of a customer centric team.
•    To drive and support aggressive Parts and Service (P&S) growth (at target margins) in assigned region.
•    Be the voice of WALTCO P&S to the regional customer base.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

•    Respond to incoming calls and emails from Waltco customers (Parts)
•    Provide quotes, lead times, shipping info and other areas of assistance to our customers and regional reps
•    Develop / Grow / Manage relationships with assigned (or prospective) WALTCO P&S customers in region
•    Deliver world-class P&S and service support to internal and external customers
•    Provide account setup services and system integration support for new P&S customers
•    Participate and support unique P&S sales contests and programs to drive sales in the region
•    Seek out opportunities to cross-sell WALTCO products into generalized tail lift repair providers
•    Support “warm” pipeline of P&S and service prospect customers for Inside Sales organization
•    Become support for first line of defense in reporting and driving resolution to emerging issues in the field
•    Collaborate with customers (new and legacy) to develop a P&S stocking program where applicable
•    Provide reporting and input on regional P&S sales activities as well as competitive intelligence
•    Execute corporate pricing strategy as well as rebate / discount strategy per guidelines
•    Document all meaningful activities in WALTCO CRM system (Salesforce)
Accountabilities:
•    Top-line P&S business growth in region that meets or exceeds targeted financial goals 

We expect from you

 

Education:
•    Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
•    Associates or Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience preferred 

Working experience:
•    Minimum four (4) years of experience in field sales capacity, preferably in P&S / component sales 
•    Prior industrial equipment / automotive retail P&S sales / customer service experience

Competence and skills:
•    Good time management (organizing, planning, prioritizing) skills
•    Customer-oriented
•    Working knowledge of profit/loss accountability, solid business acumen.
•    Good communication skills, both oral and written
•    Strong technical aptitude and/or technical knowledge 
•    Extensive computer skills (Microsoft Office products / CRM systems) with accurate data entry skills
•    Detail and results oriented
•    Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong work ethics with a professional and cooperative attitude
•    Ability to work independently with limited supervision
•    High-moral character and commitment to fostering and growing a team environment
