Compensation Data

 

 

Salary starting from $80,000 per year based on skills and experience. 

Purpose of the position

 

 

  • Shaping market demand according to PSC capabilities and analysis of current forecast
  • Optimized utilization of PSC resources based on the long term capabilities and market demand 
  • Delivery of SQDIP strategy and KPIs within owns area of responsibility 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

Safety 

  • Ensuring safe and hygienic conditions at subordinate workplaces and taking care of health and safety prevention
  • Achieving goals in the field of work safety
  • Ensuring on-the-job instructions for subordinate employees, with particular emphasis on aspects of Occupational Health and Safety

 Quality 

  • Ensuring quality standards and improvement targets are met and maintained within his own area of work
  • All tasks are completed and closed out in a timely manner
  • Ensure data integrity/unambiguity and firm data source (sales volumes/demand)

Delivery

  • Enabling organization to deliver goals to the customer (sales level, PSC performance)
  • Manage the monthly S&OP meeting to ensure a balance between the demand plan and the supply plan
  • Liaise between the sales organization and the supply organizations
  • Delivery of product within the value stream in line with the PSC demand schedule & KPIs targets for the team
  • Agree sales potential vs. PSC capability
  • Provide scalability scenarios (ramp-up/ramp-down)
  • Actively drive discussion with the Board on capacity increase/reduction
  • Monitor sales situation - budget, forecast to ensure PSC capacity is followed
  • Monitor market trends and demand in order to secure proper product mix for the value stream in conjunction with the CSC
  • New projects timing and volumes analysis and implementing them within PSC capacity abilities
  • Analyzing LT development and driving proper product mix in order to utilize PSC capacity efficiently
  • Translate long-term demand in mid- and short-term perspective
  • Order Intake and Order Book analysis vs. capacity utilization factor and PSC performance

Inventory 

  • Ensure inventory level goals with capacity plans are achievable
  • Ensure flexibility with supplier base to ramp-up/ramp-down accordingly to capacity demanded
  • Achieving sales and factory performance at optimal cost level

Productivity 

  • Ensure PSC capacity is utilities at maximum available level for performance results
  • Implementation and maintenance of Work Standardization in the subordinate area to increase effectiveness 
  • Increase in implemented great ideas (Kaizen) improvements

People 

  • Engage all the support function to create capacity analysis and risk assessments
  • Extend short-term vision into mid- and long-term horizon perspective
  • Conciliate different goals of all functions/departments with supply chain/company goals
  • Present PSC stand point to the board
  • Present and explain Board stand point to PSC
  • Setting goals and organizing the work of supportive functions and providing resources necessary to achieve the goals set
  • Supervision of subordinate/supportive employees, in particular in terms of compliance with the principles like performance management
  • Promote culture of common goals achieving and finding common solution
  • Bring to life each day our HIAB values and demonstrate these behaviors in his / her leadership style

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

Education:

  • High School diploma/equivalent required. Secondary education in Engineering or Sciences preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing certified

Working experience:

  • 7 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of S&OP, capacity management
  • 3-5 years of experience in a management role or related experience/supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies and the ability to integrate those into the operation
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution
  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
  • Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and function specific software
