Purpose of the position
Ensure & develop product quality inside the factory functions.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Safety
- Follow up the quality of the incoming goods and packages from safety perspective
Quality
- Product quality audits according to the separate product audit plan & remarks of the observations
- Handling of production quality deviations and related countermeasures
- Measurements according to the special customer requirements like PPAP, QGAR
- Quarantine of defective product
- Create and complete nonconformance reports
- Create and complete 8D reports
- Collect and analysis quality inspection data
Delivery
- Supplier quality deviations claiming to Sourcing Navigator system – site specific
- Make material deposition decision rework, scrap, UAI, RTV
Inventory
- Inbound material inspections according to the QAP/ECR need & definitions
- Update material status in ERP system
Productivity
- Maintenance and calibration of measurement devices
People
- Bring to life each day our HIAB values and demonstrate these behaviors in his/her leadership style
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Technical degree or similar preferred (depends on the relevant experience)
Working experience:
- Several years production experience to get the understanding of the functionality/technicality of product
Skills and competencies:
- Strong technical understanding of manufactured product and it’s functionality
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Usage of main measurement devices
- Visual inspection of weldings/fabrication techniques
- Statistical analysis to point out the measurement failures
