Key Accounts Executive

Responsible for developing and managing long-term relationships for customer accounts to achieve designated sales target levels. Responsible for sales and order intake increase, supporting the rental and leasing business in the area and managing the sales directly to OEMs and Truck Body Companies in the region.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the direct sales and order intake process and increase, aiming at meeting and / or exceeding top line growth and profitability within own area.
  • Responsible for the rental and leasing business aiming for the introduction of a final mile product line and strong launch for increased profitability within own area.
  • Responsible for managing all the export business from the US to Latin America and building up a strong presence for export business opportunities within own area.
  • Develop and maintain profitable business with designated accounts; responsibility for the budgeting and profitability.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders and centres of competence in all required business segments at the earliest stage to respond to clients' integrated business needs.
  • Expand sales, introduce new products / services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients.
  • Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated  targets. Ensure that pricing and agreements are up-to-date and communicated to needed persons.
  • Retain and intensify long-term customer relationships by providing comprehensive integrated proposals for established accounts.
  • Formulate a sales and marketing strategy for the assigned area, developing guidelines and policies in line with the business strategy.
  • Responsible for sales expansion, ensuring  new product introductions, new market insights and active relationship management towards existing and new customers.
  • Negotiate terms of sales and deal with significant national / regional accounts.
  • Sales and Order Intake Growth for GA, FL, SC
  • Manage Key Trailer, OEM, Truck Body Builders in the territory 
  • Support Waltco Dealer Network in the territory 
  • Oversee export of liftgates to Latin America from FL
  • Support trade shows and events that for the liftgate business is 75% concentrated in those States

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education:

  • College Degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing. MBA or MS is a plus.


Experience:

  • Transportation Industry Experience in Sales / Marketing / Business

Ability to travel 70% (50-60% within the territory, 10-20% nationally)
