We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Manager, Hiab Warranty to join our team!

 

 

 

Purpose of the position

 

 

The purpose of the position is to establish, lead and develop a word class Hiab Loader Cranes operations within Warranty Management. Your main priorities are to serve our customers to secure up-time and limit cost damages and secure the organization get fast feedback to continuously improve. You withhold Hiab’s global Warranty system.

 

 

 

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

 

  • Head the Loader Cranes Warranty team
  • Focus on individual development, good and safe work environment and team results. Perform the PDP-process
  • Establish and follow-up on annual budget, action plans, target setting and KPI´s. Reporting and perform monthly reviews on business performance.
  • Ensure the quality of the work meets the customer expectations and secures Hiabs world class position.
  • Member of the Product Support management team.
  • Authority to accept/reject claims within set budget (according to Hiab approval limits) for Loader Cranes products.
  • Process owner of Hiab warranty processes (claim administration, accounting, parts return management, supplier claiming )
  • Responsible for development of the LCS Warranty model and Warranty terms and conditions (Cost provisions, warranty forum, warranty handbook etc)
  • Ensure proper warranty handling in both Loader Cranes divisions as well as the other divisions.
  • Continuous improvement of the operative processes - minimize administrative cost, include innovative process to expedite processing time and enhance data quality
  • Ensure warranty data analytics and feedback to all forums working in constant improvement in Hiab as a brand (PLC, Quality…)
  • Improve the visibility of warranty information and introduce advancements in claim processing, reducing the possibility of fraud
  • Monthly reviews with FLU’s to minimize rejection rate from Principal and ensure proper LWC cost accounting.

 

 

You ensure your team:
 

  • Create one point of support for warranties
  • Case pre-analysis, filter & distribute internally. Secure fast feedback loops
  • Manage C-Care support and training
  • Maintain and update warranty documentation (service and warranty manual, Warranty handbook, terms & conditions including financial and legal regulations and demands)
  • Responsible for warranty master data incl. workcodes and labour rates
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Operate warranty back-office administration (e.g. accounting, data quality) and supplier claiming feedback and parts return
  • Support NPD requirements
  • Other responsibilities as agreed

 

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

Education:
 

  • Academic degree in engineering, quality, management. Economy if combined with one of the above as minor specialization. Minimum 3 years.

     

Working Experience:
 

  • Several years of customer and/or product service and support management. 
  • Leading role for at least 2-3 years on top-middle management level, preferably in a global environment 
  • Leading, coordinating or managing projects and training operations


 

Competence and Skills:
 

  • Superior: Project management. Communication and customer support
  • Advanced: IT systems for customer support and service operations and financial systems
  • Personal attributes or qualities: Extrovert and people oriented, solution focused and fact based, like to have things in order with a holistic mindset. Energizing, inspirational, flexible


 

Language skills:
 

  • English requirement: Advanced
  • Preferred: a third language, Spanish, Swedish, German, Polish or  French
