Finance Controller

As a Finance Controller you will be responsible for:


  • Drive consistent financial processes including maintaining a standard cost system, cost allocations, inventory valuation, manufacturing variance analysis and product costing, transfer prices,
  • Oversees general accounting activities including payables, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger,
  • Provides accurate and timely reporting of financial results,
  • Prepares annual operating plans and departmental budgets and monthly follow-up,
  • Drives monthly forecasting process,
  • Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting,
  • Reports monthly financial results in line with corporate guidelines,
  • Optimize cash flows process and actively take part in improving company’s other financial processes,
  • Ensures compliance with group accounting and reporting standards,
  • Maintain adequate internal controls,
  • Support audit process,
  • Provides investment analysis/justification,
  • Provide financial support and analysis to key productivity initiatives/projects,
  • Conducts profit optimization projects through continues improvements and identify areas for development,
  • Monitor and ensures achievement of KPIs defined by business line,
  • Provide insight and direction to drive profitability and productivity,
  • Challenge actions and areas if needed to reach financial targets,
  • Provide proactive financial and business support to Supply Chain Director,
  • Provide local management team with timely, insightful analysis to promote growth and increase effectiveness,
  • Active member of local management team,
  • Manage the team of controlling specialists.

We expect from you

  • At least 3 years of experience on a similar position in an international manufacturing company,
  • CIMA or ACCA certification and experience in creation and implementation of controlling systems would be an asset,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the proven ability to develop and sustain relationships on every level of organization,
  • Strong people management skills and experience, focusing on employee personal and professional development in line with departmental KPIs and the business strategy,
  • University degree in economics (finance, accounting or similar),
  • IT skills : practice in ERP system, HFM, IFRS and MS Excel/G-suite,
  • Good English and Polish language skills (both oral and written).
