Product Support Engineer APAC

Purpose of the position

Provide services and after-sales technical service to customers, service partners and/or third party contractors on existing and/or newly acquired equipment and components.

Main tasks and responsibilities

You act as a point of contact in questions regarding technical support (lorry crane hydraulic & electrical) including practical problem solving, field tests etc.

Collects detail information, perform technical investigations, analysis and base on good judgement to evaluate/decide temporary field solutions and determine the most effective method of resolution.

Execute service training in accordant to the training plan 

Perform monthly reporting and establish needs reports

We expect from you

Education, experience and qualifications

  • Holds a diploma or trade certificate (NiTEC) within engineering, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience from a similar position.
  • Speak and write good  English, and preferably speak one or more Asian language
  • You work freely in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and different support systems. Computer and online software’s are your daily tools
  • Excellent service orientation and communication abilities as well as experience from customer support and/or sales in order to build trust with our customers
  • You have a big interest in problem-solving, quality methods and factual communication
  • This position requires good knowledge control systems, hydraulics and electronics.
  • You need to have basic hydraulic knowledge
  • Advantages: experience from working in projects, and plan and perform training.
