System Support Specialist

Hiab's Loader Cranes, Light & Medium department is looking for a System Support Specialist to provide process knowledge and system usage support to FLU end-users and to keep daily operations running at a high-quality level. In addition, it is a process expert role for projects for the development and rollout of business initiatives in Hiab Operations domain (new service offerings, processes, and tools).

Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Provides business process and tool support for operations end users 
  • Create and manage incident tickets towards the global support organization when tool/user issues occur
  • Act as FLU support to fix/coordinate resolution of tool/end-user issues when FLU level root cause
  • Develop, setup, maintain and train business processes
  • Create and maintain training materials and support the end-user learning journey 
  • Participate in project planning and execution as FLU project team member (e.g. implementation of new processes and tools)
  • Support business operations performance reporting.
  • Support other service systems such as not limited to ProCare, HiConnect, SAP, Salesforce(Service elements), and C-Office.

What you’ll need to succeed:


We are looking for a professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Also, we prefer a person with a positive attitude and ability to understand end-to-end processes and details of solution flow from a business and system viewpoint. 


Ideally, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience with process support and tool expert role with skills to train others and work on projects
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to train others in system usage expert
  • Proficiency with SAP (imperative)
  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Understanding and complying with Hiab Ltd Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions 
  • Understanding and complying with all Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal).
