Inside Sales Service Representative

Hiab’s Loader Cranes, Light & Medium division is looking for an Inside Sales Service Representative to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.


This position is home-based. You will report to the Director, Sales & Services, Germany.

Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Use installed base data to hunt for new Services Products customers (e.g. Accessories, Parts, Contracts) 
  • Identify and develop E-Commerce opportunities utilizing Hiab’s digital platforms
  • Make sure that SalesForce is updated with customer data as well as leads and opportunities
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Act as a feedback loop for digital platforms & champion e-commerce
  • Activate Marketing Automation with the market segments.

What you’ll need to succeed:


We are looking for a professional with superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and is able to work comfortably in a fast-paced and modern environment. The perfect candidate is self-driven, results orientated and curious and eager to develop.


Ideally, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field
  • 5 years of experience in service sales or industrial goods sales in the automotive or agricultural industry
  • Competency in Google applications including Slides, Sheets, Docs and G-Mail.
  • Business understanding and knowledge of KPI and customer success criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
