Sales Representative

Purpose of the position

The position is responsible for equipment sales operations within designated areas or segments in Brazil South Market Area

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers; assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet sales targets;
  • Work with Manager, Sales & Service, Brazil approved budget for direct new equipment sales to assigned customers;
  • Manage assigned customer relations, act as business manager towards assigned customers and be the main point of contact;
  • Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business;
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within organization;
  • Collaborate with technical support representative in the Market Area to coordinate and channel technical support from Hiab functions towards assigned customers with Market Area;
  • Provide commercial discounts in line with established guidelines;
  • Participation in fairs and events, promoting the brand and prospecting new customers;
  • Know, understand and comply with Hiab Brazil’s Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions;
  • Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements;
  • Use CRM for documenting leads, sales and customer data.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

Working experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of sales in the industry (technical sales /  commercial vehicles / yellow line / trucks implements

Education:

  • Suitable educational background; commercial, mechanical engineer, production engineer or administrative subjects (Bachelor/academic level) 
  • Fluency in English is desirable
  • Able to travel - up to 60%
