Product Manager

Purpose of the position

Hiab is looking for a Product Manager to provide best in class customer experience by delivering differentiated solutions, including market leading product and data-driven services, throughout the product lifecycle with market leading offerings supporting our customers & organization to meet our sustainability targets in a Global level.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for own product(s) success (Sales, CGM and share growth by attractive segment) 
  • Owns product input in overall MGPP and implements roadmap for given products to product line strategy
  • Secures needed input for NPD activities (Insights, segmentation, unmet needs, business case, launch, etc.). 
  • Spends 40% with customer/external stakeholders. Organizes & uses deep insights for decision making
  • Input to marketing (Value proposition, differentiation to competitor, other USP’s etc)
  • Product Phase in & out
  • Ensures existing products are optimized with the correct options, pricing, sales tools to meet business objectives
  • Prioritises PLC activity to ensure portfolio remains competitive
  • Approves option releases
  • Works with Pricing on value based pricing, competitive analysis, price positioning and pricing model
  • Works closely with sales organization to counter-measure growth and price gaps 
  • Training on value proposition and offering
  • Co-operation with Service PM to secure optimized product lifecycle costs, serviceability, and service capabilities in markets
  • Owns TCO management. Develop insights (and sales/value argumentation tools) for product TCO in different applications and customer segments
  • Responsible of own product technical sales support
  • Responsible of own product segment specific support

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Expert/Mastering, has in depth knowledge and skills covering all aspects in the area of expertise/responsibility. Is considered a role model and expert in the area of expertise/responsibility, works typically on a tactical level. Coaches/mentors others

Multiple years experience in on road load handling systems (or similar heavy equipments)
Experience in multinational working environment
Experience in working in customer interface
Experience in handling product and product business in different life cycle stages
