Purpose of the position

We are looking for an Engineering Specialist to join our team in Santo Antonio da Patrulha, Brazil

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop, conduct and implement research and development in the area of ​​hydraulics for knuckle boom cranes;
• Interact with HIAB operations in all subsidiaries in order to develop and implement solutions relevant to the hydraulics of knuckle boom cranes;
• Create, develop and interpret hydraulic diagrams;
• Create, develop and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams;
• Cerate 2D and 3D modeling through engineering specific softwares;
• Build prototypes of new hydraulic systems or components for cranes;
• Make adjustments to designs as needed to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability; 
• Carry out a detailed analysis of the current product, identifying its strengths and weaknesses in terms of performance and quality;
• Conduct training for representatives assisting the commercial team working together with after-sales; 
• Communicate and conduct formal meetings and presentations with suppliers, factory and internal areas at all management levels; 
• Know, understand and comply with Hiab Brazil’s Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions;
• Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.

What you will need to succeed:

• Suitable educational background: Mechanical engineer or  Production engineer (Bachelor/academic level)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on R&D / engineering department and excellent understanding of load handling business and HIAB product knowledge. Experience in software: SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO and others.
• English requirement (intermediate or higher).
