Master Engineer

We are looking for a R&D Master Engineer to support the Structural analysis team in Hiab Demountables & Defence Division (DMDF).

 

We aim to be a market leader in sustainable and smart load handling solutions. You will design the groundbreaking solutions products taking advantage of our stakeholders. You will help your team to develop new solutions by performing strength simulations and other calculations.

 

You can also focus on developing the analysis methods and tools used in R&D. The position is located in Raisio, Finland. Hybrid working is possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Perform structural simulations during product projects 
  • Other technical calculations related to product compliance purposes
  • Follow international standards and legislation related to structural mechanics in our field of machinery
  • Guide and instruct other engineers to perform small simulation tasks
  • Maintain and develop our simulation environment to match requirements of new innovations
  • Cooperate with Controls team about combined simulations.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

Ideally you have:

 

  • Degree in Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering
  • Simulation experience more than 2 years
  • Skills & knowledge in Ansys, Creo or similar engineering software, Matlab/Simulink is seen as benefit
  • Analytical and innovative attitude to tasks
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
