Technical Support Coordinator

Hiab is looking for a Technical Support Coordinator who will be responsible for the technical documentation, technical service and support. The position will be based in Perrysburg, Ohio, USA and will be reporting to Technical Support Manager. 

Key accountabilities

 

  • Coordinate execution of technical support activities Hiab US internal and external stakeholders in the Market Area to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Manager, Product Support, Product Manager, Services, and Warranty Supervisor to coordinate and channel technical support from Hiab functions towards customers within the Market Area
  • Assist in coordination of important customer notifications required for campaigns and recalls.
  • Assist the warranty team as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education:

 

  • Suitable educational background on technical subjects (Bachelor/academic level)

 

Working experience:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of technical support in the industry and excellent understanding of load handling business

 

Competence and skills:

 

  • Excellent Hiab product knowledge and technical skills
  • Ability to work in an international business environment in a matrix organisation
  • Ability to lead and manage team work effectively, ability to lead people functionally without direct reporting lines
  • Results and achievement driven and eager to create long term relationships
  • High integrity and excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

 

Language skills:

 

  • English requirement
