Purpose of the position
To develop and grow Hiab USA service sales with a focus on contract and digital services offerings by collaborating with global teams and leading service sales activities in the US.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Increase overall customer satisfaction and loyalty through expansion of Hiab service contracts and digital services
- Accountable for ProCare, Digital, and connected solutions sales development in the US
- Take ownership of existing service sales development actions and develop new initiatives
- Drive install base service capture and contract activation through analytics and growth actions
- Collaborate with local and global teams on the development and testing of contract and digital services offerings in the US market
- Collaborate with global teams on the creation of training materials for US sales teams
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create marketing materials and sales campaigns relating to services, contracts and digital services
- Lead contract and digital services sales training for the US Sales and Service teams
- Lead Contract Coordinators in the administration and management of contracts
- Collaborate with service teams on contract execution. Including presenting KPIs related to contract timeliness, completion, and margins
- Collaborate with local and global finance teams to audit contract performance and accuracy
- Provide ongoing sales support to sales and service teams
- Develop sales and offering tools for the US market, incl e.g. presentation of quotations and quotewerks developments to enable us to drive sales
- Review, analyze, and manage pricing on maintenance, contract, and digital offerings
- Approximately 10% travel is required
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Working experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a services focused organization
- Experience in developing and/or selling/managing service contracts, preferably with digitally connected equipment
Skills and competencies:
- Proven success in selling and managing service contracts
- Communication skills that are effective in a cross-cultural, matrix organization
- Business planning, financial, and analytical skills
- Project management experience utilizing system and software tools
Personal attributes or qualities:
- High energy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strategic thought process that delivers results
