The Key Account Coordinator is accountable for delivering superior customer care to Hiab’s largest, most complex customers. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing all inbound/outbound service customer interfaces for assigned accounts.  This includes, but not limited to, entering and monitoring the status of service requests for all assigned accounts, quality assurance, accurate invoicing, service response times and adherence to customer partnership agreements.  The Key Account Coordinator must demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and is responsible for prompt and effective handling of internal and external customer inquiries.  Meeting strict deadlines, working under pressure and with a sense of urgency is an important element of the position.

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree preferred 


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Serve as the primary point of contact for Key Accounts - coordinate daily service requests, monitor invoicing, review Open Work Order Reports weekly for targeted customer base, mediation of invoice disputes and other account maintenance issues as required.
•    Monitor and manage customer transactions to ensure timely and accurate completion 
•    Acts as the internal source for inquiries regarding assigned Key Accounts – ability to communicate customer needs thoroughly and effectively, and be a reliable source of information about customer’s service needs, status, deadlines and deliverables.
•    Analyze and report Key Account activities to manager and other team members weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
•    Responsible for quarterly Key Account data uploads. 
•    Assist Key Account Manager by preparing documents, reports and presentations for meetings.
•    Handle all administrative duties related to assigned customer base.
•    Understand, monitor and ensure compliance  to all policies and procedures 
•    Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by manager to support the department and company goals and objectives

Principal Accountabilities:
•    50%    Coordinating incoming service requests
•    30%    Monitoring customer transactions to ensure timely and accurate completion 
•    10%    Daily, Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
•    5%    Receive and resolve customer issues and misc. requests    
•    5%    Other duties as delegated by manager
