Purpose of the position

 

  • Drives solution sales in the given market with focus on delivering best customer experience and building a  true partnership with complete lifecycle support.
  • Manage and execute sales and markets strategy for all divisions in a given country or area

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

  • Responsibility for HIAB products sales & services in the region
  • Full local P&L responsibility
  • Net working capital management and maximise cash flow 
  • Establish and implement Hiab’s strategy in CSC (Customer Support Centre)/territory.
  • Follow and enforce HIAB’s key KPIs.
  • Safe working environment (HSEQ)
  • Develop a growth strategy for the short and long term
  • Maximise local gross margin opportunities through pricing, life cycle profitability and cost savings
  • Define growth opportunities through market share gains, segment development and route to market optimisations
  • Compile and provide market intelligence and competitor moves
  • Understand local truck transport legislation
  • Drive service growth and identify opportunities to maximise profitability
  • Face of HIAB towards customers and dealers.
  • Review region performance with HIAB divisions and with the key departments.
  • Customer journey from factory delivery to end customer delivery, through the full life cycle.
  • Follow the latest ISO standards. Hiab Code of Conduct. Delegation of Authority.
  • Active succession planning within the Sales & Services team

 

KPIs:

 

  • Sales/Order intake (Equipment & services incl. contracts)
  • Product Gross Margin, OP, Forecast accuracy, NPS
  • Safety KPIs
  • NWC

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education:

 

  • Preferable relevant academic degree e.g. master in business and administration

 

Experience:
 

  • Experience in material handling or mobile equipment commercial activities is highly desirable
  • Several years of experience in senior sales, services and marketing roles (commercial and/or operations experience)
  • Proven ability to drive sales, operations and profitability and manage customer and dealer relationships
  • Experience in business development, change projects; M&A experience is beneficial
  • Leadership and coaching experience with good track record
  • Knowledge of different sales tools, systems and training approaches to drive the new ways of working
  • Experience working in an international corporate environment
  • Experience in development of business plan/strategy and execution
