Customer Service Administrator

Hiab is looking for a Customer Service Administrator to provide administrative support to the Service Department front line activities. On this role you will be liaising with customers, providing a high level of service while being able to respond and adapt in a demanding commercial environment.
The role is based in Northallerton and will be reporting to the Service and Installation Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
•    Preparing estimates for repairs,  and progressing with the customer
•    Prepairing customer Invoices
•    Generating Purchase Orders for Vendors payments
•    Collecting and processing engineers paperwork and calculating overtime for payroll
•    Maintaining records for monthly KPI information 
•    Assisting with service invoice queries, and providing general service information on request
•    Control and monitoring of Work In Progress.

What you’ll need to succeed:

The successful candidate is a self-motivated person, who is able to operate with minimal supervision. They should be organized, with attention to detail. We are looking for somebody possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, as successful interfacing with other departments will be part of the daily job.

Ideally you have:
•    Relevant education 
•    Proven previous experience on a similar position in a service organisation
•    Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft software
•    SAP system knowledge will be considered as a serious advantage.
