Parts Sales Specialist

Purpose of the position
To provide top-level customer service, assist customers with parts inquiries, and drive revenue growth through parts sales.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through parts sales (upselling, campaigns, relationship development)
- Respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries through phone calls and emails
- Identify/troubleshoot customer parts needs
- Enter orders in SAP and Webshop
- Use multiple systems to identify correct parts information
- Provide parts quotes and lead times
- Follow up on quotes to close sales
- Escalate customer/parts issues quickly when required, providing accurate and complete information
- Assist customers with Webshop questions/issues
- Continual learning of product and parts information
- Provide sales and service leads to respective departments
- Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements
- Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
Accountabilities:

What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
- Candidate with AA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
Working experience:
- Prior industrial equipment/automotive retail parts sales/customer service experience
Skills and competencies:
- Time management (organizing, planning, prioritizing) skills
- Customer focused
- Understanding of profit/loss accountability
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong technical aptitude and/or technical knowledge
- Extensive computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google products) with accurate data entry
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong work ethic with a professional and cooperative attitude
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
