Parts Sales Specialist

Purpose of the position

 

To provide top-level customer service, assist customers with parts inquiries, and drive revenue growth through parts sales.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Drive revenue growth through parts sales (upselling, campaigns, relationship development)
  • Respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries through phone calls and emails
  • Identify/troubleshoot customer parts needs
  • Enter orders in SAP and Webshop
  • Use multiple systems to identify correct parts information
  • Provide parts quotes and lead times
  • Follow up on quotes to close sales
  • Escalate customer/parts issues quickly when required, providing accurate and complete information
  • Assist customers with Webshop questions/issues
  • Continual learning of product and parts information
  • Provide sales and service leads to respective departments
  • Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job

  • Spare parts sales revenue

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education:

 

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Candidate with AA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience preferred

 

Working experience:

 

  • Prior industrial equipment/automotive retail parts sales/customer service experience

 

Skills and competencies:

 

  • Time management (organizing, planning, prioritizing) skills
  • Customer focused
  • Understanding of profit/loss accountability
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong technical aptitude and/or technical knowledge
  • Extensive computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google products) with accurate data entry
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong work ethic with a professional and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
