Service Configuration Engineer

Do you have experience in service offering and ability to influence project teams? We are looking for curious individuals, who will manage configuration rules and processes with local teams to ensure that our installation offerings align with our equipment,  accessories, and frameworks.

By joining our team you will have the opportunity to collaborate with sales, pricing, delivery, product management, and system architecture teams to ensure cohesive processes.  
This position can be based in the Netherlands, UK or Finland. You will report to the Senior Manager Installation.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Standardization of the configuration process within service division
• Introduce product configurations for Installations
• Responsible of maintaining services configuration rules
• Implement a vision with system architecture and upkeep configuration models
• Contribute to system development activities
• Implement and improve our strategy to reduce the variances in local markets by providing global solutions.
   

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or any comparable technical education
• Experience in the service offering, process and systems development
• Knowledge of harmonizing global processes and system development practices
• Experience of working with Sales configurators, PLM, SAP
• Change management skills
• Project management skills
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and implement new ways of working, build trust and work in cross-functional teams 
• Fluency in English both written and verbal.
