Regional IT Manager

Purpose of the position

The Hiab IM organization is strengthening its internal competencies, and we are looking for an ambitious, experienced, and self-motivated IT/IM professional to join the End User Services team as a Technical IT Manager in the EMEA Region. You will work in an international environment, where you are the speaking partner for our business users in IT-related demands and support escalations. Together with our internal technical teams, and outsourcing partner you ensure a high level of IT/IM support and an excellent end-user experience. The position can be based anywhere in Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Being the speaking partner for the business (local/regional) in IT/IM-related demands.
  • Mapping their demands to our service portfolio.
  • Discuss demands with our technical team/enterprise architect
  • Having regular connections with local management
  • Being the ‘Go-To’ person in case of IT/IM support escalations.
• Leading the team of regional onsite IT resources.
• Ensure a high level of IT/IM support delivery by our internal technical teams and outsourcing partners.
• Ensuring that global policies and procedures are in place and followed.
• Participate in local, regional, and global projects.
  • e.g. office moves, acquisitions, or new technology deployments.
• Having a supporting role in the local/country financial IT planning.
• Any other matters related to IT/IM support.
   

What you’ll need to succeed

Having the attitude 'I am here to help you'. This means in our view being hands-on, customer-focused, service-minded, and a team player. You have a technical IT background. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite. As we are a dynamic organization we expect you to adapt and respond to change rapidly. Traveling in the EMEA region is a part of the role.

Ideally, you have:

• Bachelor/University degree in Information Technology and Information Systems.
• Minimum 10 years of technical hands-on experience in the IT industry.
• Google Workspace, Server, Networking, and End-User support experience are a pré
• Excellent knowledge of service management practices and service processes (ITIL framework)
• Express yourself fluently in the English language, verbally and in writing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Having experience working in a global organization is preferred
