Hiab is looking for VP Spare Parts Supply Chain to join our team. 

Your responsibilities will be to coach and lead the Logistics function within own responsibility area according to business area objectives, strategy, and business needs and best market practice.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • The scope of the function is the end-to-end parts supply chain (to end-customer and/or dealer/importer/Hiab technician from nominated parts suppliers via the supply chain network)
  • Lead the function to become a modern customer focused and lean supply chain with the agility to adjust as the business develops. Always balancing long terms strategic objectives vs short to mid-term targets
  • Develop and drive a Sales and Operations Planning process to strategically and tactically manage service levels, alignment of demand and sales plans, working capital (cash) and profitability
  • Enable realization of next steps in developing the supply chain such as PLCM and installed based planning concepts, multi-echelon networks, and continue digitalization of the logistics function
  • Continuously evaluate the supply chain footprint to maximize the availability of parts and fast deliveries against working capital and profitability targets
  • Develop and lead the implementation of new supply chain processes and continuous improvement initiatives, including strategic resource allocation; organization structure; leadership; supply chain systems and techniques and fixed cost control for improved efficiencies
  • Lead the function's development and implementation of policies, procedures, and compliance activities to ensure that all organizational objectives are met
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level to develop and implement supply chain strategies that are aligned with the business objectives, and translate these into annual plans
  • Challenge, guide, develop and coach senior managers to continuously improve key skills; keep them challenged, while emphasizing a learning orientation and managing performance effectively to ensure that the business achieves its objectives.
What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Experience of leading logistics operations with multiple teams in different countries
  • More than 10 years of experience in the field
  • Experience from implementing Lean principles in a supply chain function
  • A strong interest in developing existing and new processes and tools and ways of working to increase efficiency and productivity. Resolve people, financial and operational issues
  • Excellent cooperation skills, ability to work with different cultures, ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Good understanding of financials, ability to analytical thinking, ability to draw conclusion, structured way of working
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, effective and innovative in developing insights and creating unique business models/approaches
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, drive consensus within the organization, and develop a trust-based executive level relationship.
