The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the global marketing strategy according to the overall strategy of Hiab and the business strategy of the Business area/-s he/she is responsible for to support a long term positive and sustainable development of business. The employee shall be the guardian of our company brand as well as our equipment brands and take an active role in developing them into the strongest brands in the industry.

Main tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Region’s Sales & Services Directors to develop marketing strategy/actions and communication plan linked to the Region’s overall key initiatives and subsequently with local S&S Managers for each market
  • Work together with local marketing to drive execution of proposed marketing actions, follow up, and fact based evaluation
  • Create alignment of marketing activities within Region and globally (sharing best practice)
  • Act as brand guardian and implement the Visual Identity Guideline and secure the global use of unified communication to strengthen brand values and identity
  • Promote a change from re-active marketing activities to targeted pro-active initiatives
  • Promote automated digital tools and implement process to collect relevant contact details from installed base, identify and address new segments and prospects
  • Communicate within Sales Region (Sales and Service teams, Tech teams, Marketing) to drive engagement and focus on key initiatives and related marketing actions.
What you’ll need to succeed:

 The perfect candidate should be willing to proactively work to improve and establish the way of working within the marketing community.  

Ideally you have: 

  • Knowledge of local market facts (size, share, segments, potential, trends)
  • Knowledge of who is the customer, influencers, other stakeholders
  • Understandig of Rtm, order generation (for each market, equipment, services)
  • Knowledge of Hiab equipment brands’ market status and position
  • Ability to collaborate with and support BL’s portfolio changes and new product launches
  • Understanding our customers needs and use this knowledge in the communication and development of the offering
  • Ability to develop appropriate tools and actions based on FLU’s launch and sales plans.
