Hiab’s Sales & Marketing division is looking for a Sales & Service Area Manager.

In this role you will define, implement Area strategy and action plan. You are responsible to drive customer-centric solutions with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization, preparing sales and service sales forecasts and budgets, contributing to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information, and by understanding market trends. You are also responsible to drive and deal with Partner & Dealer network in your area.

This position will be based in Cargotec’s Hiab office in Vuosaari/Helsinki.

You will report to Director, Sales & Services Hiab Finland.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and development of sales profitability
  • Direct reports - Regional sales representatives
  • Working Time Reporting
  • Provisional Calculation for Regional sales
  • Monitor instructions, practices, and policies
  • Hiab (DEM, LCS, TMF) FLU’s sales contact for product lines (BL)
  • Implementing Hiab's sales model “Hiab way of Selling”
  • Product offering for the market
  • Used equipment pricing and inventory tracking along with sales support and development of sales and refurbishment
  • Development of sales channels together with other sales organization.
What you’ll need to succeed:

We are looking for fearless, interested in technology, spontaneous and persistent salesperson who is a collaborative team player striving to find new solutions and meet customer needs.


Ideally you have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in technical sales
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field
  • Good knowledge of load handling equipment
  • Good understanding of sales tools (e.g. CRM) and their use as sales support
  • Experience in B2B device sales
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Finnish, Swedish is an advantage.
