Dealer Business development manager

Purpose of the position

 

Within the context of our growth strategy and the Hiab operating model, this person is responsible to support the development of the authorized partner strategy to drive dealer loyalty - with a clear focus on the Services business. It is important to establish a long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with channel partners in order to increase performance in the target markets. 
The manager is accountable to improve the effectiveness of distributors in new and existing markets through the FLU by cooperation, guidance, and distributor performance development strategies. Work will be a combination of strategic network design and hands-on implementation globally.


Key accountabilities:

  • Develop and coordinate implementation of global route-to-market strategy, network coverage and dealer loyalty program in close cooperation with frontline units globally
  • Support of development of dealer performance operating standard measurement audit process and coordinate implementation through frontline units
  • Develop and implement new dealer Service offering and drive parts, contract and other service product sales in cooperation with dealer service network and central services team
  • Harmonization across FLUs in terms of ways of working
  • Establish, train and develop a network of (Services) dealer managers and stakeholders in the Hiab FLUs to continuously improve our ways of working
  • Participate in the development of new tools, systems and portals to support and improve Hiab way of working towards the dealer network
  • Identify best practices connected to dealer management internally and externally and support the implementation of those across the company.
     

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • Master’s degree with a major or minor in the field of business administration, economics, engineering or other relevant field
  • Experience in working with and developing of an international dealer and service partner network
  • Strong quantitative focus and practical experience with Microsoft Office and Google tools, especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides, are essential. 
  • Strong and positive interpersonal skills and a proactive and diligent approach to accomplishing tasks with high quality. 
  • Fluent in English and excellent communication skills to different stakeholders. 
  • Self-starter, strong analytical skills, fast learner and the ability to develop creative solutions fact-based.
