Service Dealer Development Manager

Purpose of the position


Within the context of our growth strategy and the Hiab Operating model, this person is responsible to support the development of the authorized partner strategy to drive dealer loyalty - with a clear focus on the Services business. It is important to establish a long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with channel partners in order to increase performance in the target markets. 

The manager is accountable to improve the effectiveness of distributors in new and existing markets through the FLU by cooperation, guidance, and distributor performance development strategies. 


Key accountabilities:

  • Drive part, contract and other service product sales through Hiab Service dealer network
  • Support the development of the authorized partner strategy incl contract development, pricing strategies and other focus areas to drive dealer loyalty.
  • Support RtM assessments in key markets and optimize service coverage together with key FLU staff
  • Responsible for coordination of target setting and performance management of the Service dealer network in key FLUs
  • Support of development of Dealer Performance operating standard measurement audit process
  • and site selection for expanding dealer operations.
  • Develop and implement new dealer Service offering in cooperation with dealer service network and central services team
  • Continuously improve the tools and processes utilized throughout the Hiab frontline organization to drive dealer performance
  • Coordinate with Services Active Sales Operations the activities related to dealer improvement
  • Participate in the development of new tools, systems and portals to support Hiab way of working towards the dealer network
  • Establish, train and develop a network of (Services) dealer managers and stakeholders in the Hiab FLUs to continuously improve our ways of working
  • Identify best practices connected to dealer management internally and externally and support the implementation of those across the company.

What you’ll need to succeed:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field



  • 5-10yrs experience in service sales or industrial goods sales in the automotive or agricultural industry
  • Hands on experience in working with and developing of an international dealer and service partner network



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Competency in Google applications including Slides, Sheets, Docs and GMail.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced and modern environment
  • Customer Service mindset
  • Able to see holistic picture of wider business environment
  • Ability to drive results in a structured manner.
