Senior Project Manager

HIAB is looking for a Senior Project Manager will be leading our key initiatives in the Services division. This role will oversee the switch to a more digital environment that helps the company work smarter and serve our direct and indirect customers even better than today. 
The person in this role will make sure that initiatives under their responsibility are going towards the common goal while acting as a key stakeholder for project teams to plan and develop their operational and commercial solutions. The person will also act as a key Subject Matter Expert for technology commercialization and customer experience topics, thus, this role combines program management with knowledge of technology and its capabilities, as well as business insight.

The position is based in Helsinki, Finland.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Lead the planning of the projects and support execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget
• Bring knowledge on digitalization, process excellence, customer excellence and service design to the program organization
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including sales offices, central teams and external customers across the company
• Track and report on the progress as per governance of the digital transformation to senior mgmt
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation projects
• Coordinate and drive the deployment of the new developed solutions in the markets
• Support the end users on the solution and process matters ensuring the link with system solution owners
• Own and be accountable for the criticality triangle during all developments (cost - scope - time)
• Follow up closely the development budget vs. spent & accrual on monthly basis

What you’ll need to succeed

• Master or Bachelor degree in Business administration/mechanical engineering/industrial management/computer science/information technology or equivalent work experience
• Strong experience in program management, and/or relevant consultancy roles, preferably experiences in services and/or machinery
• Experience in IT landscape preferred, i.e ERP/Operating model transformation, Digital transformation, Technology commercialization
• Proven experience in leading and delivering a complex transition initiative of a multimillion investment and more than 50 FTE involved 
• Proven project and change management skills within IT context in a complex environment
• Facilitating skills, ability to bring together different stakeholders and funnel ‘local’ business requirements in global solution framework
• A good communicator with the capability to work both in teams and independently
• Interest in technology & process development
• High sense of urgency and good sense for details 
• Experience with Google products (slides, sheets etc), SAP, Salesforce, BigQuery is desired
