Senior Project Manager, IM

Purpose of the position

Plan, lead and manage IM projects in the field of new solution implementation, IT infrastructure and M&A to achieve the desired business or IM transformation related benefits. The projects are led in a multi location and multi vendor environment, in cooperation with Hiab business and IM.

We aim to hire a new team member to our PMO team. We are seeking for candidate that have  strong experience in delivering projects at least in one of the areas: M&A and infrastructure, Finance and reporting, General application implementation. The position is open in Finland.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Operational project management of the project
• Lead the planning and implementation of the project according to agreed project model and within planned timeframe. We use mostly hybrid waterfall-agile model.
• Contribute to project benefit identification and business case preparation together with the business owner
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Facilitate issue management and fast decision making
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop comprehensive project plan and schedule
• Manage project budget and project resource allocation
• Track project deliverables and deliver the project accordingly
• Ensure high quality
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Implement and manage project scope changes
• Present progress, risks and issues with solution proposals to the Project Steering group
• Support project owner in reaching and measuring the business benefits and established KPIs
• Manage the administratives: work orders with external parties, purchase order and invoice management, cost budgeting, forecasting and actuals follow-up.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Commercial or Technical background, Bachelor degree
• Minimum 8 years direct work experience in project management, including all aspects of project planning, execution, organizational change management, team leadership etc.
• Proven experience in ERP domain, new IT product implementation or IT infrastructure or M&As
• Proven experience in business process and process change implementation
• Experience of working in agile and scrum environments
• Experience in business stakeholder management
• Proven experience in vendor management
• Experience working with different cultures in a global company
• Project management skills and frameworks (waterfall, agile), PM Certification preferred
• Ability to travel (limited need, projects are mainly led remotely).
