Product Lifecycle Performance Data Analyst

Purpose of the position

 

Responsible for analyzing large amounts of raw information to find patterns that will help improve our products and business decisions.

In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Build models to address business problems 
  • Responsible for the technical and engineering data analytics platform
  • Establish clearly defined and prioritized metrics that can be used for performance management purposes to enable the balance of creating new value for Hiab and our customers
  • Presenting information using data visualization techniques
  • Support the services digitalization program to enable predictive services by closely working together with all stakeholders to develop machine-learning algorithms and predictive data models
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Managers, Service Operations, After Sales Technical Support and R&D in order to embed insights into processes and products
  • Supports service operations First-Time-Fix, Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) and Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR)
  • Create and maintain lifecycle analysis model
  • Create algorithms that will support lifecycle modeling of the equipment

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience

 

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a technical/commercial role (preferably managerial) in a service environment
  • Relevant experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
  • Experience in data mining
  • Thorough understanding of the Service world
