Project Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for Project Sourcing Specialist to join or team. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing/purchasing material for prototype production and/or setting up external suppliers of materials.

The position will be base in Eksjö. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

As a Project Sourcing Specialist at Olsbergs, you will work broadly within your field. The duties consist of, among other things:

●    Ongoing sourcing of components for drawing-related details and constructions as well as maintenance in production
●    Production preparation of structures, drawing-related details linked to projects and maintenance in production
●    Purchase materials, services and outsource work internally to the company's prototype workshop.
●    Collaborate regarding what is done internally and what is outsourced to the supplier
●    Interact with other functions and departments within Olsbergs such as production, design, purchasing, production planning, etc.
●    Monitor deliveries and manage any deviations
●    Cost calculate the project/purchase based on quotes, analysis, or experience from previous purchases.
●    Work actively with cost efficiencies
●    Actively work with suppliers, selection of suppliers regarding costs within project procurement.
●    Strategic purchasing work

The role is a full-time position but the work as a Project Sourcing Specialist is 50-75% of a full-time job. The remaining working time will be filled with other sourcing and/or project management tasks depending on the selected candidate's profile.
 

What you’ll need to succeed

●    Academic or post-secondary education in Economics/Supply Chain or equivalent work experience at companies with technical products.
●    Good knowledge from an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
●    Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
●    Driving license
●    Experience with Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.
●    Project management
●    You are a good communicator who has the ability to create trust with colleagues and suppliers.
●    Analytical skills with the ability to prioritize your duties.
