We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join Hiab's Business Development team. The purpose of the position is to prepare business cases for growth opportunities, drive strategy development and implementation and provide strategy critical business and market intelligence services & analytics. This position is preferably located in Dundalk or Helsinki and you will report to Senior Vice President, TMFL (Truck Mounted Forklifts).


Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business and growth opportunities (e.g. partnerships, alliances, mergers, or acquisitions)
  • Analyze and conduct business cases, analyze markets, competitors on a regular basis (macroeconomic, customers, competitors, regulatory requirements etc.), utilize external benchmark data i.e. business intelligence
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans, and mergers & acquisitions
  • Supports in defining growth strategy for market area based on the fact based market analysis
  • Facilitate discussions and manage negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organization's business interests
  • Coordinate and manage research and benchmarking activities within the corporation
  • Develop tools, systems and approaches for business development, strategy design and implementation.

What you’ll need to succeed:



  • 2-5 years’ experience of business analytics/ development roles (e.g. consulting)
  • Preferably experience in analytics in the similar industry



  • University degree (e.g. Master in Business and Administration)



  • Analytical and problem solving skills, analytical tools and systems
  • Pragmatic decision making skills
  • Value chain understanding
  • Strong business mind-set with basic financial skills, knows and understands drivers for profitability & growth
