We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our friendly team of professionals in Dundalk, Ireland. You will be involved within a wide variety of tasks such as: electrical development for TMFL in terms of connectivity and control system application, and assistintance in analysing customer requirements. This is a unique opportunity to exercise your electrical skills and bring contribution to a fast-growing organisation.

 

The position is based in our Dundalk site, Ireland and reports directly to the Control Systems Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the development of technical solutions in electrics / control system – NPD & PLC applications
  • Assist with the electrical development for TMFL including harness design, component specification and selection
  • Ensure designs are safe and rated for use in TMFL environment and signed off by suppliers
  • Document system functions and assist in the development of work instructions
  • Being involved with other engineers to integrate the electrical wiring harness and its components into any new TMFL designs
  • Contribute to production of technical publications.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Certificate or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automotive Electrical Qualification
  • Understanding of automotive CAN bus systems an advantage
  • 3- 5 years of experience in any of the following disciplines:  Electrical / Electronic / Automation / Mechatronic Engineering
  • Ability to read schematic and electrical drawings
  • Familiarity with ECAD drawing package or other CAD packages
  • A good communicator, with strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft or Google products.
