Service Support Controller

We are looking for a Service Support Controller to provide administrative support to the front line activities of the service department at our Atherstone site. On this role, you would liaise with customers to provide a consistently high level of service thus should be able to respond and adapt in a demanding commercial environment.

The position is based in Atherstone, however travel may be required upon occasion to other sites.

The role will be reporting to the Service Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
•    Responding to customer enquiries for breakdowns and servicing
•    Liaising with ASC’s regarding all aspects of repairs and service calls
•    Liaising with ASC’s regarding all aspects of maintenance and service contracts
•    Maintaining documents and files for maintenance contracts and service calls
•    Managing and controlling the maintenance service contract process, including producing reports
•    and schedules and overseeling the respective administration process
•    Raising contract quotes and agreements
•    Maintaining service contract schedules
•    Assisting the Service Managers in the management of profitability and costs for maintenance and service contracts
•    Providing technical support where possible
•    Adhering to Company processes and procedures
•    Observing all safety procedures and instructions and assisting in maintaining a safe working environment including the reporting of any accidents, hazards, near misses, defects or damages to Company equipment to your line manager or Health and Safety.

What you’ll need to succeed:

The successful candidate is a good team player, who is flexible with regards to tasks performed.
They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders. We are also looking for self-motivation and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Ideally you have:

•    GCSE Level
•    Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service, working in a fast paced commercial environment in an administrative role
•    SAP system knowledge would be preferable but is not essential
•    Good I.T. skills, including MS Office.
