We are now looking for Cloud SW Engineer to join our team in Tampere.
 
In this role, you will work on building a modern cloud-based IoT platform and data driven applications. Your main responsibilities include developing software for acquisition, processing, analytics, and storage of data. Together with the team, you will be developing analytical workflows and data lake integration together with data scientists, implementing microservices and REST APIs, and driving integration with business systems. You will work with AWS technologies such as ECS, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, Athena, and CloudFormation.

To succeed in this role, you ideally have

  • M.Sc (Eng.) or B.Sc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in developing cloud software and applications
  • Strong working knowledge in one or more programming languages including Javascript/Node.js, Java, Python, or Scala
  • Understanding technologies like containers, serverless computing, ETL workflows, and data streaming
  • Exposure to cloud automation and configuration management tools like CloudFormation, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Readiness to learn new skills, challenge established practices, and work in cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with lean software development methods
