US ITP Specialist

Salary starting from $55,000 per year based on skills and experience.

Purpose of the position

 

 

In the ongoing journey to harmonize and implement common end-to-end processes and systems in order to gain effectiveness and scale benefits. The ITP Specialist supports global transactional Accounts Payable services for CBS customers in Americas region using the ONE Platform (SAP and Basware with global finance processes including offshore operations) and LN ERP platform with local Basware and finance processes. ITP Specialist follows Cargotec practices and policies and promotes process-driven way of working. ITP Specialist ensures cross-organizations consistency in his/her own actions and supports global standardization when local business interests or statutory regulations are conflicting with the global company practices and policies.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

  • Printing and receiving invoices (by email or regular mail)
  • Matching invoices with packing slips from receiving
  • Voucher the invoices
  • Check and approve the vouchered invoices for payment
  • Pull the paid invoices for scanning into SAP
  • Scan Non-PO invoices to Basware
  • Filing invoices and maintaining these files
  • Maintain communication log to business receiving and purchasing on invoice questions or issues
  • Assist with month-end close – Making copies of invoices, Non-PO invoice spreadsheets for accruals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

Education:

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

 

Competencies:

 

  • Experience with simple to complex query handling
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
  • Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
  • Full professional proficiency of the written and oral English
  • Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
  • International mindset

 

Working Together With:

 

  • The ITP Team in US, Sofia, Bulgaria, and Bangalore, India
  • The RTR and OTC teams for escalated queries
  • Customers of CBS both external and internal
